Mixologist Magazine
Page Layout, Website Prototypes
The goal of this project was to explore multi-page design (both print and digital) by creating a unique magazine piece. Since I have worked in the liquor industry, I wanted to tap into my knowledge of local spirits. Hence, I created Mixologist, an editorial focused on distilling in the Pacific Northwest.
My design concept was relatively simple: create a clean look where color choices reflect the feature of the issue. The color was inspired by Mr.Pickles' fur (the pit bull). For the digital prototypes, a black-and-white format was chosen to keep the content neutral and open to change. These pages are intended to be part of a larger trade publication and website.
