During the pandemic, Audix Microphones wanted to increase vocal microphone sales, since this was obviously down-market. Under the direction of the V.P. of Marketing, we developed a visual that would remind musicians of why they missed the stage. The concept was to use vibrant color and a sense of the "epic" to draw attention and inspire that stage feel. The color was especially important here, as the Audix brand standard is black, grey, and gold. This choice helped elevate this campaign past expectations.
